The Plan Finder on www.medicare.gov is now active for 2007, and it appears that much has changed in the landscape of Part D plans. How can SHIPs be prepared to help all Medicare beneficiaries consider all of their options for the 2007 Part D Annual Enrollment Period? Join us to discuss the counseling and education challenges that this tight timeframe and many plan changes present. We will also discuss how counseling tools, such as the Plan Finder, can enable SHIPs and their partners to empower beneficiaries to make informed decisions and take timely action to select the best Part D plan.
