Taking Your Numbers to the Next Level

HAP Conference Call
Wednesday, April 18, 2007
3:00 PM ET

This month's call will delve into the role of program development, a subject of importance to many SHIPs. This call begins a discussion of program evaluation. SHIPs already track many statistics for their programs-- numbers of counselors and their hours, trainings, presentations, client contacts, and more. The collection and reporting of this information is the first step of evaluation. This interactive conversation will focus on what else SHIPs can do with the data they collect. Further, we will discuss reasons for evaluation as well as the common myths surrounding it. HAP believes that evaluation is empowering. This process can lead to greater understanding, defining, and improving a SHIP program. We will leave plenty of time for questions and discussion.
