The Health Assistance Partnership (HAP) is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization. HAP's mission is to help State Health Insurance Assistance Programs (SHIPs) enhance their capacity to inform, counsel, and assist Medicare beneficiaries. HAP is a source of information for SHIPs, the health care community, and the general public. Proper attribution is appreciated. HAP encourages SHIPs and their partners in the aging network to refer to our Web site (hapnetwork.org) where they deem the information appropriate.
