Calculate National Performance Reporting

SHIPTools collects, captures, and calculates national performance reporting (NPR) requirements as stipulated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

	Counseling and outreach activities are entered by SHIP team members, whether they be paid SHIP staff or volunteers. Team members have immediate access to information on the SHIP services they are providing for local record keeping and reporting, as well as for follow-up purposes. Accesses to the information can be restricted to different team members based on their participation within the SHIP program.

	The SHIP program can easily access all of the data that is being reported at anytime. There are two different methods for viewing the information: Real-time, easy to read, customized reports created by the SHIP program Count, sum, and average reports generated by geographic region, organization and/or individual

	SHIPTools creates the files for Client Contact Forms (CCF) and Public and Media Activities (PAM) in the format stipulated by CMS for upload into SHIPTalk. SHIPTools automatically calculates the SHIP Resource Report from information collected on counseling activities and data from the system's volunteer database.
